Local School Receives Much Needed Christmas Wish
InsureOne Insurance Agency donated computers and printers to the Bilingual Parent Resource Center of Manuel Perez Elementary School located at 2001 S. Throop in Chicago, IL. The Bilingual Parent Resource Center and ESL classes have provided ESL (English as a Second Language) classes to the Chicago Public Schools’ Latino families for the past seven years, however, the existing computers were outdated and no longer functioning properly. InsureOne’s donations will help foster a stronger community by supporting adult education in the Hispanic community.

InsureOne Supports School Safe Passage Program
The Black United Fund of Illinois provides direct service to non-profit organizations and projects through technical assistance and support services. The BUFI technical assistance program empowers individuals to take control of their own lives and helps organizations become more self-sufficient. Most recently, representatives of InsureOne provided food, beverages, and a monetary donation to a neighborhood event that included the introduction of a school safe passage program. The partnership of the Black United Fund of Illinois and InsureOne will continue to work together to support community outreach programs that help redirect at-risk young people into more productive life-style choices.
