Why Don’t the Minimum State Insurance Requirements Cover Me?

The insurance requirements for each state are the minimum car insurance requirements in that state, by law, for their own residents. Every state’s minimum requirements for insurance are listed on each state’s website for their state insurance commissioner. Although all that is required is to meet the state minimum to keep one legal in their state for car insurance- only purchasing the state minimum insurance requirements is usually not the best choice.
